Ukraine: CPT-port export prices for feed barley are about $115-116/MT (UAH 608/MT) at the moment, UkrAgroConsult commented on April 14. Simultaneously, barley purchasing prices reach UAH 580-600/MT at elevators. This means that the traders actually assume all costs related to arranging grain export formalities, transport, obtaining necessary certificates, customs procedures etc. At the same time the traders hope that they will be able to set off these expenses some day by the VAT refunding, the outlook for which is still vague.

UkrAgroConsult communicated that there was registered rocketing of barley shipments for the first fortnight of April compared with this same time period in March – up to 180 KMT (against 110 KMT in March).
